PotLuck [Event Branding Design]
This is a poster and T-shirt design project for an emerging hip-hop duo '1potmagic'. They are hosting an event that brings Jazz sounds and Community vibes, singers, musicians and MCs can connect and jam, with sets from emerging afro-jazz collective The Finite Experience.
The goal was to bring mid-century modern style graphics to represent jazz music scene as well as the retro-style fonts to convey a bit more approachable and laid back events feel.

'Delete That Old Version...It Expired' [Graphic Art]
This project is inspired by a quote on the internet: "Delete that old version of me in your head. It expired".
Thanks to many life journeys and milestones I have been through in the year of 2025, I resonated with the quote deeply. This year is, and has been, filled with new beginnings and fresh starts, and I wanted to design a project that can symbolise that moment.
Having been to the Primavera Sound 2025 in Barcelona, I've used photos from the festival as the main source of background imagery.
Thanks to many life journeys and milestones I have been through in the year of 2025, I resonated with the quote deeply. This year is, and has been, filled with new beginnings and fresh starts, and I wanted to design a project that can symbolise that moment.

'Cookin Magic' [Event Branding/Merchandise]
A rising Hip-Hop duo, 1potmagic (Glitch Kid & Big O yeno), hosted a gig event to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the release of their first album, Cookin Magic. The event was held at Lost Art Skate Shop in Baltic Triangle, Liverpool, on Saturday, 10th May 2025.
I was lucky to get asked to design their show branding, such as the poster, their physical album covers and CD prints, as well as stickers and T-shirts for their merchandise sales. The event was a huge success, filling the whole venue and still making profit through the tickets and merch sales.

Botanica Obscura [Visual Poetry]
"Botanica Obscura: Garden Between the Moon and Shadows"
This collection of poems explores the liminal spaces between night and dawn, vulnerability and strength, despair and resilience. Written exclusively during the hours between 10 PM and 5 AM, these pieces emerge from what the author calls "when the borders between spirituality and reality run thin."
The work is structured around lunar phases—Waxing (Becoming), Full (Entanglement), and Waning (Release)—with each poem anchored by a plant that serves as both title and thematic foundation. From "Yarrow" through "Bleaching a Black Dahlia," the collection traces a journey through vulnerability, crisis, and the possibility of renewal.
The visual presentation emphasizes the individual nature of each piece while maintaining connection to the whole—reflecting how personal healing often happens in discrete moments that accumulate into larger transformation. The final prose piece, "Field Notes: Untitled," shifts perspective to suggest hope beyond personal struggle.
This project demonstrates how poetry can serve as both documentation and companionship through difficult psychological terrain, using natural imagery to ground abstract emotional experiences in something tangible and familiar.

IKEA 'Hej! We are Family' [Campaign Project]
This IKEA marketing campaign is a spec project that focuses on IKEA's brand identity and promoting IKEA family membership to make the most out of the company and enjoy their experience. I tried to incorporate IKEA's casual and simple context and visual identity along with their cute and comfy elements such as their meatballs, plush toys, and the illustrative style on their manual guides, to ensure consistency and an open and chill environment to welcome new members.
I started sketching the simple black line drawings and then went onto develop further with their colour palette and item images on their website.

Phantasmagoria of Modern Ruins [Book]
Phantasmagoria of Modern Ruins is a visual exploration of abandoned spaces, revealing their haunting beauty and layers of forgotten history. Through photography and design, the project examines the ephemeral nature of modern ruins - how they transform, decay, and become vessels of memory. By capturing these liminal spaces, the work reflects on impermanence, nostalgia, and the tension between past and present in the built environment.

I have attempted to re-develop posters for the movie I watched and loved. By manipulating images from the film company and the creative use of Adobe Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator) I have attempted my version of the posters.

Sloshed. [Game Re-Design]
This project deals with a commercial board game reimagination called "Sloshed.", which is a redesign of an existing drinking board game 'Sloshed!' It blends a variety of concepts and ideas from other games to heighten the drinking game experience and get happily drunk. Compared to the original version, it encourages a more close connection and intimate discussions for increased engagement between players. Designed with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) along with my sketches on a notepad.

#WomanLifeFreedom [Campaign Design]
#WomanLifeFreedom was a charity and cause-based campaign to raise awareness and support for the heated topic of human rights protests in Iran that started in September 2022, after the death of a young Iranian Woman, Mahsa Amini, who was arrested by the morality police for not wearing hijab correctly.
I have designed the interactive piece for the campaign to increase experiential and symbolic acts that the audience can interact with, to heighten the engagement and effects of the campaign.

Brighton Dome Logo [Proposal]
This is an experiment and a proposal for the rebranding of the Brighton Dome, the art and performance venue located in the centre of Brighton (right next to the Pavilion).

Radiate Your Frequency [Video]
This is the video editing response to my project: Radiate Your Frequency. Its main theme is what is important in the design world is to be unique and adventurous in our design rather than being tamed by the convention or the aura of what is established.
It consists of 2 videos, both uploaded on my YouTube channel, inspired by outdated film reels and manipulation techniques which are then treated using Adobe Premier Pro.

FREQUENCY [Exhibition Branding/Design]
FREQUENCY was the University of Brighton's MA Graphic Design course’s graduate show which held its place in July 2023. I took the leading designer role in designing the exhibition branding including the posters, wall decoration, printouts and signposts. I believe it will present my ability to carry out a project involving a goal and dealing with a public audience. The logo was created by Adobe Illustrator and further manipulation has been applied using Photoshop and InDesign.

Radiate Your Frequency [Book]
Radiate Your Frequency is a project centred around artists’ manifestos by discovering a visual approach to enhance and interactively engage the audience with the manifested messages. Beyond the texts and ideas how graphic touches can improve and enhance the delivery and impact of manifestos.
‘RadiateYour Frequency’ (Frequency of Radiation) is my manifesto response to the project. The underlying theme is that in a multifaceted and complex world, conceptual ‘content’ or visual ‘form’ doesn’t matter much. However, commercial interest and capitalist intent favouring the reproduction of similar and generalised designs are ultimately harmful to creativity and limit the potential of designers. Therefore, we should look forward and focus on radiating our own design language, style, and content and be diverse and unique as much as possible to liberate ourselves from such constraints. It will be recognised and appreciated by the right audiences and create a more diverse environment for all.

Typeface Design
I have designed 2 typefaces during my university years to present my ideas better and uniquely. This showcases some of the application examples of my typeface RADIA and MANIFEST into a designed medium.


Nia Moon's Visual Identity & Manifesto
This part of the portfolio presents my application and development of typefaces, as well as shows my digital skills and my aesthetics in dealing with imagery and images using Adobe programs and photography as well as typeface applications. It shows the layers of my work and reflects the thought process and work procedures regarding images. I particularly prefer to deal with abstract imagery and the nuanced tone but my ability is not limited to these alone but creating more intentional illustrative works such as symbols, background patterns and more. to fit the project's aesthetics and aims. Starting from manipulating and applying effects on conventional typography using Adobe Creative Suite, I further carried on designing my typeface and blending it with images both digitally and manually to explore the effects and imagery.
